Sr. Property Adjuster K-W CLAIMS (Grade 10)

Handle first party homeowner and mobile home property claims which present large exposure or are more complex in nature. Requires a high school graduate or equivalent with minimum seven years property claims background. Must have experience necessary to read and interpret insurance policies, contracts and repair estimates. Must have ability to evaluate contents and personal property and be familiar with market prices. Must be certified/accredited in the evaluation adjustment and settlement of damages resulting from earthquake and must maintain status of Accredited Earthquake Adjuster by completing periodic renewal of Earthquake Accreditation as required by Company. If accreditation isnÆt held at time of hire it must be obtained within six months of hire. Experience in management and control of coverage and litigated cases is required. Must be well versed in SIU guidelines and DOI regulations. Must have ability to perform risk analysis. Must be familiar with computer operation and type at least 25 wpm.

Property Adjuster, Field, K-W CLAIMS (Grade 24)

We have two openings.* This is a home based position. Must have at least three years field exp preparing estimates for repair and construction, have the ability to evaluate physical damage, personal property and liability and be well versed in SIU guidelines, Department of Insurance Regulations, the Insurance Code and legal case law. Travel throughout assigned territory inspecting, photographing and evaluating residential property losses to determine cause of loss; preparing scope of insured damages and estimate of repairs. Property Casualty Insurance experience a must. Successful applicant will train at our home office in North Hollywood. Company car provided, must have valid driver's license for state of residence and be insurable under the company's fleet automobile insurance policy. Also requires proficiency with Xactimate property estimating software and ability to type 25wpm.

Supervisor, Property Claims (Core Unit) K-W CLAIMS (grade 26)

Supervise everyday operations of Property Core Unit, coordinate activities and functions of unit staff. Requires: High school graduate or equivalent with strong experience in supervision/ management of a property claims department with a background in customer service. Must have strong experience in a Claims Department at an insurance company or Third Party Administrator. Must have a thorough understanding of insurance documents and coverages and thorough knowledge of Department of Insurance standards and regulations. Must be computer literate, able to type 25 wpm with knowledge of word processing preferred. Must be certified/accredited in the evaluation adjustment and settlement of damages resulting from earthquake and must maintain status of Accredited Earthquake Adjuster by completing periodic renewal of Earthquake Accreditation as required by Company. If accreditation isn't held at time of hire it must be obtained within six months of hire.
